About Innova Preparatory School
Innova Preparatory School opened in 2021 with a single unconventional premise: build a college-preparatory school from the ground up around how different minds actually learn.
Today, IPS holds dual accreditation through the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) and the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) — a distinction shared by only a handful of schools in Mississippi. We serve students in grades 1–12 through three academies: the Dyslexia Academy, the Autism Academy, and the College Prep Academy.
Every IPS teacher is MDE-certified and dual-certified through MAIS. Class sizes are intentionally small. Instruction is evidence-based. And the school is structured around one conviction: that belonging, structure, and high expectations produce extraordinary outcomes — for every learner.
At Innova Prep, we believe education should ignite curiosity, build confidence, and prepare students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Our community is rooted in innovation, purpose, and the belief that every neurodiverse learner deserves access to meaningful, high-quality education in an environment that suits them best.
We exist to empower our students academically, socially, and creatively while combining strong instructional foundations with forward-thinking practices that encourage problem-solving, leadership, and lifelong learning. Through collaboration with families, educators, and the broader community, Innova Prep creates an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
This section of our site invites you to learn more about who we are, what we stand for, and how you can be part of the InnovaPrep story, whether you’re a family exploring enrollment, an educator seeking opportunities, or a community partner looking to get involved.
